Total Time 45 minutes mins
- 2 tsp Melt® Organic Buttery Spread softened
- 1 ½ pounds ground lean turkey
- ⅔ cup dry Italian bread crumbs
- ⅓ cup fresh parsley chopped
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese shredded
- ¼ cup tomato sauce
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 3 tbsp fresh oregano chopped
- 2 tsp fresh rosemary chopped
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- ¼ tsp salt
Prepare Your Oven and Pan
Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C).While the oven heats up, grease a broiler pan with the softened buttery spread. This will help prevent the meatballs from sticking and make cleanup easier.
Mix the Meatball Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey with the bread crumbs, chopped parsley, shredded Parmesan, tomato sauce, minced garlic, chopped oregano, chopped rosemary, dry mustard, cayenne pepper, and salt.Mix everything together until well combined. The mixture should be evenly mixed but not overworked.
Shape the Meatballs
Form the mixture into 30 meatballs.Place each meatball on the prepared broiler pan, spacing them out evenly. This ensures they cook properly and brown nicely.
Bake and Check for Doneness
Bake the meatballs in your preheated oven for about 15 minutes. To make sure they’re fully cooked, check that they’re no longer pink inside. For best results, use an instant-read thermometer; the meatballs are done when they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
