Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven

  • Set your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Dough

  • On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.

Transfer the Dough

  • Move the rolled-out dough onto the prepared baking sheet.

Add Garlic Butter

  • In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter and minced garlic.
Brush this mixture evenly over the dough.

Add Cheese and Seasoning

  • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the dough.
Then, add the dried Italian seasoning, crushed red pepper flakes, and a pinch of salt on top.

Cut the Dough

  • Use a pizza cutter or a sharp knife to cut the dough into 8 equal breadsticks.
    Do not separate them yet.

Bake

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the breadsticks are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.

Garnish and Serve

  • If you like, sprinkle the breadsticks with chopped fresh parsley for a touch of color.
Let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
