Cheesy Italian Parmesan Mozzarella Bites

- 1 cup Parmesan cheese finely grated
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese shredded
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs lightly beaten
- 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Oil for frying
Prepare the Cheese Mixture
In a bowl, combine the Parmesan and Mozzarella cheeses until well mixed.Roll the cheese mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in size.
Set Up the Breading Station
Prepare three bowls.One with the flour.One with the beaten eggs.One with breadcrumbs, garlic powder, oregano, and black pepper stirred together.
Fry the Cheese Bites
In a deep pan, heat about 2 inches of oil to 350°F (175°C).Once the oil is hot, carefully add the cheese balls and fry them for 2-3 minutes, or until they turn golden and crispy.
Drain and Serve
Using a slotted spoon, remove the cheese bites from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.Serve immediately while they’re still warm and crispy, with your favorite dipping sauce.
